
An important part of having your own domain name is using it with for all your email communications. These instruction show you how to set it up.
Microsoft Outlook Express
1. After loading Outlook, choose
Tools... --> Accounts ...
2. Click mail tab, then add mail account, Click OK.
- Double click on your email account
- Click on the "Servers" tab
- Set Incoming mail (POP3) to mail.yourdomainhere.com (no http://)
- Set Outgoing mail (SMTP) to mail.yourdomainhere.com (no http://)
- Set Account Name to your email username
- Set Password to your email password
- Check the box that says My server requires authentication
- Click on the "Settings..." button. The outgoing mail server logon
information screen will appear. Select "Log on using" from the two
available choices and enter your email address (ie yourname@yourdomain.com) in the
"Account Name" field and your password in the "Password" field.
- Check the box that says "Remember Password"
- Click Ok
- Ok
- Close, you're done!
